To protect your custom music and ensure it remains exclusive, please do not upload these songs to platforms like Spotify or other public music streaming platforms. This prevents other realtors from gaining access to your custom music and using it as their own. Instead, follow the steps below to create a private playlist on YouTube Music and use it during your open houses.

Step-by-Step Guide to Using YouTube Music for Your Custom Playlist:

1. Upload Your Songs to YouTube Music:

  • Go to music.youtube.com and sign in to your YouTube account.
  • Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner and select "Upload music."
  • Drag and drop your downloaded MP3 files or select them from your computer to upload.

Tip: Make sure all your custom songs are successfully uploaded to YouTube Music.

2. Create a Private Playlist:

  • After your songs are uploaded, click on the Library tab.
  • Navigate to "Playlists" and select "New playlist."
  • Name your playlist something like "Open House Songs" for easy identification.
  • Set the privacy setting to "Private" to ensure only you can access and play the playlist.

3. Add Your Songs to the Playlist:

  • In the Library tab, go to the "Uploads" section where your uploaded songs are stored.
  • For each song, click the three-dot menu next to the song title and select "Add to playlist."
  • Choose your newly created "Open House Songs" playlist.

4. Play Your Playlist During the Open House:

  • Use the YouTube Music app on your mobile device (iOS or Android), or access it via a web browser.
  • Navigate to your private playlist and press play when your open house begins.
  • Stream the music directly during your event without needing to download the files onto your device.
